What are your quarantine Days looking like?

  • What we Do at Quaranteen Help

My name is Sammy Pollack, I am now 16 and am a high school student. Probably like you, I have been feeling a lot of different emotions since we were all dealing with quarantine-to now...I feel like there is a lot of depression, anxiety and teens dealing with many different issues. I loved hearing from my peers and connecting with so many amazing people. Often, peers like myself, sent in what they were struggling with and I found that I felt comfortable with, and pretty good at giving advice. I also feel like a lot of problems that teens "talked" to me about were relatable to so many others. I happen to be a great listener and consider myself to be extremely compassionate. I choose to fill my time with volunteer work often, and love to help out.

I am so excited to be starting an advice column for teens.

Sometimes teens just get each other in a way that adults may have a harder time understanding. I helped my mom for years run groups for kids and teens and I have been inspired to continue helping and reaching to even more individuals. If you are reading this and you are a teenager having an issue, please send it in and I will offer my honesty, opinions and best advice from the hearty. I will also be able to do this with the guidance of a licensed therapist if needed, however this advice column is not meant to take the place of licensed practitioners. I just want to help out and am happy to give you my honest opinion, which I have been told is helpful.

Please send in your problems or any issue to our email or fill out the contact section. I will post several of your responses on Sundays with my advice. This is a column meant for adolescents who could use some advice.

Looking forward to connecting with you....

Connecting with others and writing down feelings can better our mood, especially during times like these. It's important not to keep it all bottled up.

We are in this together and it’s important to stay positive and connected.
